Aigle Royal Group is thrilled to announce that it has received Development Approval for Stage 2 of the Samara Casuarina large format retail centre.
This exciting development is set to become a premier shopping and lifestyle destination in Perth's thriving southern corridor.
The Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) has given the green light for the next stage, which will encompass 25,000 square meters of large format retail space, food and beverage outlets, EV fast charging stations and approximately 670 car parking bays across the sprawling 5.7-hectare site.
Samara Casuarina holds immense significance for Aigle Royal as it presents a unique opportunity to urbanise and activate a new precinct within the Perth metropolitan area.
The approval of Stage 2 marks a significant milestone and the next step towards realisation of the broader masterplan, which envisions approximately 100,000 square meters of commercial floor space for retail, large format retail, food & beverage, light industrial, entertainment and other supporting commercial uses across 60 hectares.
Additionally, the masterplan considers an integrated residential precinct with a proposed neighbourhood shopping centre and other complementary lifestyle and community amenities.
Aigle Royal Group is dedicated to delivering the exciting project in a series of stages over the coming years with the development comprising major local, national, and international retailers, alongside the already operational $80 million Costco warehouse, which opened its doors to the public in December 2022.
Construction on the first part of Stage 2 is expected to commence in the first half of 2024 and despite current challenges within the construction sector, Aigle Royal remains focussed on completion by mid-2025.
