Hello lovely people, it’s me Shelby!!
Whitsunday Rocks has made some changes.

I know it has been such a long while since I last posted.

We’ve had quite an adventure since we left the Whitsundays back in 2021.

We have travelled all around Australia and it has been such an amazing journey.

We’ve been back to Airlie twice since we left. And we will definitely be back again in the future.

We are currently in South Australia building a new home base in the gorgeous Clare Valley, right on the Riesling Trail.
We’ve gone from a sea change to a tree change. 😍

We will be based here until Charlee finishes high school and then who knows what the future has in store for us..

But meanwhile, in a couple of months we will be starting back in a new studio, producing original and inspired art again!! 😀

We look forward to sharing more about that with you soon.

Hello friends!!!! It’s been forever since I posted. We’ve been travelling for almost 9 months now. Currently we are camping at a wonderful farmstay in the Northern Territory. I’ve been collecting rocks in various states around Australia and since we have to be mindful about weight in our van, I have decided today is a good day to get them out and start painting so we can drop them once we get moving again. The batch on the left were collected in Victoria. The batch at the bottom were found on the south coast of NSW and the colourful rocks on the right are from Darwin. I’m thinking of painting some nature inspired art but if I can tear Matt away from the fishing tackle, we may also see some old animated favs too. 🥰

Today was one of “those” days. We got in the car and headed off without a solid plan. This took us to Point Turton where we visited and met a gorgeous couple of locals named Shane and Roxy. I was finally able to show Matt and Charlee one of my all time favourite camping spots. We then headed around the bay to Flaherty’s Beach for a few hours of sun and Vitamin Sea. We then headed back to camp and witnessed a breathtaking sunset along the way. These are the days that fill the cup right back up. 🥰🥰🥰

Finally after several months of serious withdrawal symptoms, I have unpacked my paint pens and a few rocks from the bottom of the caravan storage area. It is time to get back to sharing kindness through art. Now more than ever, I believe we all need this. Christmas comes with a lot more to unwrap than presents this year. I haven’t posted much recently for reasons I choose not to share. Big thanks to the very wonderful Nathan from Ocean Rafting for helping me with this.
As soon as I saw that they had been out on one of the Cape Trib Reef day trips on Ocean Safari, I just knew Nate would be able to help track the names for me!!

FOUND. Today whilst visiting Ellis Beach, I found a drone that has crashed and washed up onto the shore. The young couple pictured own the drone and I want to find them if possible and return the drone to them (it is damaged but the memory card is fine and has lots of photos and footage). Anyone in the Far North Queensland region who can share this post along, I appreciate it. Kind regards, Shelby. 🙏❤️
