K2 Audiovisual Pty Ltd

K2 Audiovisual Pty Ltd From three founders and $500 to Western Australia's largest audiovisual provider by client base. More than 400 WA schools and 4,900+ equipped rooms so far.

K2 Audiovisual designs, installs and supports commercial AV across Western Australia. Three founders, $500 and a vision started the company in Perth in 2011. Today we are Western Australia's largest audiovisual provider by client base, with a team of 24 specialists working from Canning Vale. Everything happens in house: system design, installation, programming and ongoing support. EDUCATION

We bu

ild AV for the spaces where WA learns: classrooms, halls, libraries, lecture theatres and performance spaces, for Department of Education new builds and upgrades, Catholic and independent schools. We design for the people who use the room every day: clear controls, no drawer full of remotes, systems a relief teacher can drive on day one. CORPORATE AND GOVERNMENT - WALGA APPROVED

Boardrooms, training rooms, council chambers, control rooms, live venues and public open spaces. Video conferencing, LED walls, commercial audio, digital signage and control systems that make the technology disappear into the meeting. We design, supply, install and program it all with our own people. SUPPORT

We are still here long after handover. Our WA-based team services every region in the state, and we design systems for year ten, not just the install. More than 90% of our projects come from clients who have engaged us more than once, which is the only support rating we think counts. THE RECORD

Over $67 million delivered across more than 940 organisations since 2012.

Wirrabirra Primary School were watching our live stream the whole time. They just didn't know the call was coming to them.

This afternoon Dario rang their office in Gosnells, live on Facebook, and told them they'd won the $59,000 undercover area giveaway. What came back down the line was the reason we ran this whole campaign: "Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts. We are so grateful."

Their undercover area is shared by the primary school and the education support centre. Our team has stood in that space plenty of times over the years, and the story was the same every visit: there was never any ability to do anything with it. There is now.

One more thing happened on that call. Their entry was built around "Gangsta's Paradise," and we have been promised that the school will perform it at the unveiling assembly once the system is in place. Stephen from our team says he'll rap too. We have witnesses.

To every school that entered: choosing one winner was genuinely hard, and the entries deserved more than one prize. A select number of schools will hear from our team in the coming week.

The full call is in the replay on our page. The reaction is worth two minutes of anyone's day.

Thanks again to Epson, Amber Technology, MadisonAV, Extron, Audio Brands Australia, Yamaha Professional Audio and Biamp. None of this happens without them.

Congratulations, Wirrabirra. See you soon.

In just over an hour, a school somewhere in WA answers the phone and finds out they've won a fully installed $59,000 undercover area AV system.

They have no idea the call is coming. You'll hear it happen live.

70 WA schools entered our undercover area giveaway, and the entries floored us. Site plans, videos, stories about what these spaces mean to their whole communities, not just their students. Choosing one was genuinely hard.

Today at 2pm we go live, make the call, and announce the winner. We'll tell you about some of the amazing things schools sent us, and thank the suppliers who backed this from day one: Epson Australia, Amber Technology with Grandview and IPORT, MadisonAV with JBL Professional, Extron, Audio Brands Australia with MIPRO, Yamaha Professional Audio, and Biamp.

Set a reminder and come watch: https://www.facebook.com/share/1GAVQDPbdK/

And if you entered: someone from our team might be calling you next week too. That's all we're saying.

branding. Anyone who's worked in a school knows the pattern. New AV gets installed. Three remotes go missing in week one. The relief teacher can't get the projector on. Someone calls IT. The assembly starts 15 minutes late. That's why this giveaway runs on an iPad.

One screen. Clear buttons. Volume Sliders for every audio source and microphone. That's it. No remotes to lose. No training day. Customised for your school. We hand it over working, and your staff use it from day one.

After the assembly, the iPad goes right back to its charging dock and is ready to use for the next event. No running around searching for a charging cable. EVER.

The full $59K commercial AV package goes to one WA school.

Current teacher keen on additional work outside of hours? Enjoy working with classroom technology?

We, K2 Audiovisual are the largest classroom solution provider in WA, and are looking for someone with a teaching background to help train teachers on the latest interactive screens and projectors. And, just as importantly, how to meaningfully integrate the tech into real lessons. While also great earning potential and growth if you are a superstar.

This role is ideal for:

Classroom teachers (current or former)
Pre-service teachers
Technologies teachers
Teacher librarians
Educators who enjoy edtech and working with other teachers
Those who enjoy being in front of a room and helping others problem solve

What you’d be doing:

Running training sessions for teachers in schools
Showing practical, classroom-ready ways to use interactive displays
Helping teachers feel confident (not overwhelmed) with new technology
Being the friendly, knowledgeable face between schools and their new gear

Why people enjoy this role:
Fun, hands-on work without classroom pressure
Strong pay, often comparable to, and sometimes exceeding, teaching
Casual / part-time flexibility

Training can be scheduled after school hours, so it doesn’t interfere with your main job
No marking, lesson planning, reports, or parent nights
You still get to use your teaching skills, just in a different (and refreshing) way

Support & training:
You won’t be thrown in the deep end. We provide full upfront training so you’re confident and well-prepared before delivering sessions in schools. By the time you’re out on site, you’ll know the tech and the training inside out.

Location:

Based in Canning Vale
You’ll need to attend the office for initial training until you're up to speed
Thereafter you can build your schedule based on teachers/schools you'll be assisting with training.

This is more about interest, attitude, and fit than ticking every box. If you’ve got teaching experience, are confident in front of other people, and enjoy technology, we’d love to hear from you.
