Hi folks, Ben here. For the nerdy aming you, I'll be bringing out my vintage game console collection and accessories from storage for Mondays garage sale. Also, a pretty big collection of AFX slotcar track and a few cars and boxes, vintage cameras, lenses and other photography stuff. There might be a Sherwood 5.1 surround Amp and whatever else I can find in storage.
In terms of consoles, there will be:
* Sega Dreamcast NTSC-J (Japan version) including original box, VMU, 2 controllers, 2 Games (more maybe available), cables, boot disk for homebrew and multi-region games.
The battery that holds system date and time is not working but its not a hard fix if you're handy (basic soldering skills). There are mods and instructions for alternative battery options around the net. For a small additional amount, I can probably find time to order and replace with a new ML2032 battery. If you want that, a small deposit to hold it and on testing, we can finalise the sale. Should it not survive, I'll hand back the deposit.
*** To be up front, the drive is working fine and booting games well but, Dreamcasts are renowned for dying drives at this age. You might want to budget/save for an SD card mod or another drive mod. I got this from a friend who moved overseas and know it had little use but thats no guarantee. ***
* 2 x Original PlayStation 1's. One boxed and one in an official Sony PlayStation carry bag. Both are modded.
Carry bag PlayStation is tested and working and comes with 2 controllers, Naomi light gun and cables.
Boxed PlayStation is untested but I'll hopefully get it tested by Monday. I will have at least one controller and cables.
There are lots of PS1 games, some with boxes and manuals and lots of "bsckups"
Threre should be a (sealed?) boxed transparent green(?) duel shock controller available
I've also got a decent collection of light guns (mostly naomi) I've collected over the years and some additional controllers, cables, etc.
* Amiga 500 with:
- Memory expansion
- external floppy drive
- hundreds of (backup) games and applications
- 2 x mice
- TV adapter
- Phillips CRT monitor (typical broken power button but is held in easily). Not sure about overall condition but it turns on due to limited time. I think it need some rework on the k***s
- a number of original games, boxed with manuals
Unfortunately, upon booting the Amiga, the drives appear not to be working but it does boot fine. I don't have time to look into fixing them right now. I'd like to sell the Amiga hardware as a lot if possible.
Additionally, I'll have a number of joysticks. Tac, arcade, Gravis, etc. And, more. Probably 10+ joysticks available from various brands.
* Atari games - all untested. Some labels appear to have humidity or water damage. Will update when I get the box out of storage
* Nintendo NES and SNES controllers, random game manuals, posters, etc. Will update but I have a dumb amount of SNES controllers available. Not sure how many NES. (Outside of testing via a multimeter one by one, which i don't have time for currently, I have no way of testing the Nintendo controllers)
* A few boxed vintage/early PC games. I'll update when I go through the boxes. Only one I can clearly recall is Cannon Fodder and I think Sensible Soccer but theres at least a few others.
I'm sure there will probably more as I go.
I'll update here with photos as I go throughout Sunday.
If all goes well, we'll have power and a TV for anyone who wants to see things running.
