There are so many sides to running a small business that people never see.

The late nights. The weekends. The worrying. The planning. The ordering, unpacking, posting, cleaning, fixing, creating, answering messages… and so much invisible labour that is mostly unpaid. At least it has been for me. I truly hope other small business owners are better at actually paying themselves. ❤️

I had such big hopes for my little business.

At one point, I was seriously thinking about opening another store in Gungahlin. Maybe even one in Sydney one day.

I dreamed big, and I gave it everything I had. And so did my incredible staff.

It hasn’t turned out quite the way I once imagined it would, but I’m still incredibly proud of what we built.

And we’re not finished yet.

We still have 5 glorious months to go ❤️

So we’re going to enjoy them, keep bringing you beautiful things, and make the most of every last bit of this little business that has been such a huge part of my life.

Sometimes it's the little details that make a place feel special.
We absolutely love our window decals.
They make children stop and smile, spark conversations, and even played a part in one of our team members finding us.
Happy coincidence. ❤️

We also heard someone saying that the bear is not a realistic view of a bear and it should not be shown the kids. I think the person missed the bunny holding a stick like a wand 😆
