Penney’s next Pokémon trade day and buying day is this Saturday the 9th of May!

From 10am to 2pm in store our Pokémon gurus Matt and Brianna will be buying Pokemon cards and offering free valuations to anyone who wants to know what their cards are worth.

Matt says: "We're keen to pick up more modern era full arts and illustrations rares for the shop, as well as WotC-era bulk, XY and Sun & Moon era hits, and 2025 SV & Mega Evolution era ex cards. For those who may be wanting to sell high end SIRs, graded cards, or sealed, please send us a message with photos of what you've got before Saturday morning if you can."

We'll also have tables out the front of the shop where we'll be displaying more of our Pokemon and One Piece TCG folders for you to browse.

10 years ago the world of The Talking Bread bursted out of the oven and into the readers hands. It been a thrilling journey and we’re closing out the huge year of releases and celebration with one last surprise. For the first time in a long time, Issue 1 is back in print, this newly remastered version will be available for order on the web-store later this week. Here’s your first look at the cover!

The next 4 dates of Pokémon trade days at Penney’s Papershop.

9th May,
23rd May,
6th June and
20th June.

These awesome days will be between 10am to 2pm.
At Shop 19/46 Hibberson st Gungahlin. In Gungahlin Village.
Bring in your cards to sell or trade. We will tell you the real values of your cards.

We are doing deals on our ranges of Pokémon Ex’s, Holo and Rev-Holos.

English Ex’s that are priced at $5 are 4 for $15
Japanese Ex’s that are priced at $5 are 5 for $15.

Holo’s that are priced at $2 are 7 for $10.

Rev-Holo’s that are $1 each are 12 for $10.

We will also have deals on comics books with some comics starting from $2 each.
