Buddha (The Enlightened One) is grouted - still some final cleaning to be done, and Nautilus is cleaned - ready to grout. I also grouted my Solar Garden Light.

He has goone - I will miss him so.

My old boy is hanging in there - sleeping on some mosaic goodies near the heater. Six weeks on from his cancer diagnosis - he is still as smoochy and loving as ever, just sleeping (and eating) lots.

Nautilus ...
I started this as a piece whilst I was teaching a small class yesterday, but wasn't really happy with it. It was on a clear acrylic shape, and it really needed the white. Also, the patination wasn't quite right. So today, I tore about 90% of it off, and re-built it. Much happier. Needs a good clean, and a grout (in black).

PK suggested an iridised white, which I just happened to have!

Acrylic substrate (300mm). I'm thinking I will mount it in a frame, although it does have a hanging hole...

Merlin Mosaica has some amazing substrates: MDF for inside, Acrylic (Black, White, Gold Silver & Rose Mirror), Thermasheet and PVC for outside.
Flat shapes, some with an etched design drawn in, and walled shapes in MDF or Acrylic.
My MDF shapes come pre-primed in White - lifts the colour, and means you don't have to pre-prime. Magic!!
I also sell thermasheet boards. I've listed some offcuts for sale as well
And hanging hardware - yep, I have that all too!!!
