Just wanting to let you know that Recycled Recreation in Tasmania is still your 'go-to' place for quality secondhand outdoor gear.
You are all very welcome to visit our HOBART SHOP, at 96 Elizabeth st. Hobart next time you come for a bushwalking holiday.

This is when we plan to hold the next Tasmanian GARAGE SALE!

We raise funds for The Tasmanian Land Conservancy and these sales are turning into another epic success story...and every time they get bigger 😁. It is time to let your friends know, our shed is nearly FULL AGAIN.

As always, we have dozens of tents, lots of camping chairs, skis and poles, hundreds possibly thousands of clothing items including rain jackets and Merino base layers, books, general household items and kitchen items, kids toys, plants, bookshelves, small kitchen appliances,...and no exaggeration 😆 over a hundred pairs of running shoes and hiking boots, sandals, climbing shoes etc. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE. Don't miss out.
Items are priced from $1.
Merino base layers $5

Please Note: lots of gear at the Garage Sale will require maintenance/cleaning as many of these items have been deemed unsuitable for resale in our shop. However there are lots of items that are top end general sport brands, household goods unrelated to the shop, just stuff we don't sell at Recycled Recreation. ...and all funds generated go to The Tasmanian Land Conservancy

When we closed our Canberra shop permanently earlier this year, we made a lot of our loyal customers very sad 😔.

So to help alleviate some of that disappointment we promised to set up a Website. Well that is a big job!
It has taken a lot longer than anticipated, but we want to let you know that we are still working towards that goal.😁

So far the Website looks incredible. Beautiful Tasmanian images from Stuart Bowling to inspire, have been used as a header for most pages.

We have decided to feature specialist outdoor gear, really collectable books, rare and vintage items and fishing gear, just to name a few.
We have chosen a selection for the website from particular areas in our stock, which are difficult to sell in our Hobart retail shop because our location is so busy and so small!
A retail environment is also not great for preserving condition on things like carbon Fibre fly fishing rods or double autographed Peter Dombrovskis Books for example! 😆So we hope the Website will be more effective and will make these items more widely available throughout Australia.

It is important to us that our Customers realise there are thousands of everyday items particularly clothing that WE DO SELL IN OUR HOBART STORE that will not be available online, due to time constraints. However if at anytime you wish to purchase from our Hobart shop you can do so. At this time you will need to contact Recycled Recreation Tasmania preferably by phone, direct to a staff member with a specific request.
