It was an absolute joy to host the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce’s Coffee in Caloundra networking event! ☕️

A huge thank you to all our groups, members and volunteers who helped set up the wonderful displays and make the event happen. And, of course, thank you to everyone who came along!

We loved sharing our creative space, making new connections and catching up with old ones. It was a fantastic morning, and we hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did. What a great community 💙✨

🩵 Our creative community just got a lot cooler — literally!

Caloundra Arts Centre Association extends a massive thank you to the Sunshine Coast Council 🙏.

Thanks to the Council’s generous support, we have been able to purchase and install additional air-conditioning units in our venue. Their 'Major Grant Community Facilities' contribution has made a wonderful difference to our community organisation, creating a much more comfortable and enjoyable centre for everyone.

We also want to express our gratitude for the council’s Community Partnership Funding Program. As a current recipient, this funding provides crucial relief against rising operational costs. This means we can keep doing what we do best: fostering the arts and offering a space where people love to gather, create, learn and connect.

Thank you, Sunshine Coast Council, for investing in our community and making such a positive difference!

THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our Open Days 2026 a success! 💛

It was wonderful to see such a diverse range of arts and crafts being demonstrated and on display, and our community coming together to share their passion, skills and creativity. Thank you to our volunteers, artists, makers, performers, members and visitors for being part of such a vibrant and welcoming weekend full of inspiration. We couldn't have done it without you!

Learn a classic Flying Geese patchwork technique to create beautiful quilt blocks with ease.

💠 10-11am - Sashiko
Discover the traditional Japanese art of Sashiko, a meditative embroidery technique originally used to reinforce, repair, and extend the life of clothing. Today, Sashiko is celebrated as a beautiful decorative stitching style. It's the perfect handwork project to enjoy while watching children's sport or relaxing at home.

We are ramping up for an exciting weekend of Caloundra Arts Centre OPEN DAYS! Join in THIS WEEKEND as we continue to celebrate our 50th anniversary and open our doors to the Sunshine Coast community for an inspiring weekend of art, creativity and connection.

🔆We are absolutely thrilled by being the receivers of this incredible gift! Caloundra Arts Centre has been donated a solar system consisting of solar panels, battery and an inverter (to the value of around $20K+). WOW!

We were one of only 2 donations from SUNGROW to a Caloundra Community Organisation. This is a pretty big deal -- how wonderful is it that we were selected! Many thanks to Kendall Hatcher MP for putting our name forward. And thank you to SUNGROW for making this generous donation. 🙏☀️
