Happy Mothers Day! I hope you had a lovely day enjoying your family.
I had a great day where I had a lovely group making
Bee Hotels out of clay with lots of fun texture.

I was lucky to be in good company with .shabukd and who had their beautiful wares available for sneaky last minute Mothers Day gifts. Check both of them out for gorgeous recycled ceramic jewellery and upcycled clothing that is outstanding.

Clay involves deep investigation. Gas firing requires balance. Pottery incorporates all of the elements of nature. My hands form a vessel for someone to hold something in. This to me is being in alignment with nature.

Today I am firing 2 months of clay investigation. My partner Dave and I have, sifted, drained, tempered and wedged a lot of wild clay these past months. Tomorrow we will find out the results. Stay tuned for upcoming videos...

It was a relaxing day spent at with a lovely group of ladies, as we made brushes from nature and then made our mark with intention and mindfulness.
