Hi, my name is Ian Blackwell and I have been modelling for forty five years. i have a lot of kits that I have bought over the years and never got round to buiding.
A lot of them are easy to build models that would be great for kids to try with some parent-time and supervision.to introduce them to the fascinating world of model building.
I am selling these models to friends and associates who are also modelling fanatics and avid stash builders because I have not been in a great financial position for the last few years and I want to start a college fund for my 9 year old daughter Olivia, who lives with her mother 400km away and who I have not seen since she was 11 months old.
I will keep it simple and post each item in an album. From time to time I will post reviews on specific models with photos of kit contents and a bit of a blurb.
I have about fifty to sell so happy browsing!
My self-imposed rules for selling these kits and reducing my stash are:
1/. I only ask fair retail value or what I paid for them. In return, I rspectfully ask that you not haggle too aggressively or ask for free postage. I am not making a profit here, only converting items of sentimental value to me into an investment fund of real value to my daughter, for her future.
2/. If I have a mad impulse to build one of these, I'll build it and add a different one to the "to-sell" pile. So if you see one you like, be quick and pm me.
3/. I will pack on the day I receive your payment and post the next day. Bubble wrapped and tracked to your door.
4/. I buy 90% of my kits from friends and my local hobby store first, then from other bricks and mortar hobby stores a bit further away from me. I hope you do too :-)
