We’re currently building two new QRC Karts for Josie and Macey as they prepare to make their West Coast Outlaw Karts debuts this season.

With Jason also returning to the track, all three Beard kids will be racing together and we can’t wait to see the girls cut their first laps! 🩷💜

There’s been no shortage of work making its way through our 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨, with a range of different projects keeping the team busy….

Having our own dedicated paint studio right here in our 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩 has been another big step forward for what we can offer our customers.

And of course, you can’t miss the massive graffiti wall…. Created by Isla, it’s really given the studio a personality all of its own.

Plenty happening, plenty more coming through the doors… and we’re only getting started 👊

As we prepare for another massive speedway season, we’ve been reflecting on just how far our trackside support has come.

It all started with a van, packed to the roof with tubs of parts, race gear and tyres, doing everything we could to help fellow racers.

Today, that van has evolved into a purpose built KJB Race Parts support truck, carrying thousands of dollars worth of race parts, racewear, safety equipment, oils and tools to race meetings across Western Australia.

As our trackside support has grown, so has our Race Shop. The two now go hand in hand, allowing us to support our customers both at the track and back in our Bunbury store.

To everyone who’s supported us along the way, thank you. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re even more excited for what another season has in store.

Over the past few months, we’ve quietly been building our 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 & 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 program.

From complete engine builds and rebuilds to carburettor servicing, tuning & freshen ups, we’ve been busy helping racers get the most from their combinations.

It’s another part of our vision to become a complete motorsport workshop, where racers can source parts, have fabrication completed, get setup advice, and now trust us with the heart of their race car too.

There’s plenty happening behind the doors at 𝐊𝐉𝐁 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 & we’re only just getting started.

This car recently rolled through the Race Shop for a custom aluminium dash, designed and precision fabricated in house to deliver a clean, functional finish built for the demands of competition.

Supporting the motorsport community isn’t something we do on weekends… it’s what we do every day. Every project that comes through our shop reflects the standards we set for ourselves.

This burnout car received a custom set of rear tubs, precision rolled from 2mm mild steel to follow the factory wheel arch for maximum tyre clearance and a clean finish.

To make sure they’re built for the punishment, each tub was reinforced back to the chassis, adding strength and extra protection when the car is out doing what it was built for.

It was a pleasure to have current WA Limited Sprintcar Champion Joel Ettridge’s car in the workshop for a precision body fit up and chassis preparation before heading for powder coating.

This type of work is all about taking the time to get the details right. Careful measuring, panel alignment & making sure everything is exactly where it should be before the next stage of the build.

It’s the first Limited Sprintcar we’ve had in the shop for this kind of work, and we’re grateful to Joel for trusting Cookie with the job.
