Lets change the way we teach kids colours! 🎨
Rather than, "Please pass me the blue crayon," we should be using language like, "Please pass me the crayon that is blue." 🖍
This little language change makes a huge difference for children's learning. Though it might sound less natural to say, separating the colour from the word like this allows children to better understand the colour 'blue' is a descriptor rather than part of the word 'crayon'.
