“Winnie-the-Pooh” Lamp ~ perfect nightlight/ reading lamp for a little child’s bedroom! Handcrafted lampshade in a rare vintage cotton fabric on the outside and a blue striped cotton fabric for the inner lining. The vintage wooden base has been hand painted and waxed.

I’ve hand-crafted some Christmas baubles using scraps of fabric saved from the lampshades I’ve made. Each bauble is made using a patchwork of about 20 tiny pieces of fabric in a mix of patterns and colours. I’ve made 8 baubles in each colour-way: pink, orange, purple, blue, and a red, green and yellow (traditional Christmas colours) bauble.

I have other fabric scraps in different patterns/colours if you’d like a colour that isn’t here - happy to hand-craft different baubles for you! (Just ask)

They are $10 each for a 5cm x 5cm bauble or $30 for a selection of any 4 - you can mix and match the colour-ways or choose 4 in the same colour/pattern to match your Christmas colour theme for this year! “Ken Done No Rules” - I had a spare hour so popped into this art exhibition at Hota. That hour turned easily into two; as the beautiful, colourful paintings, stories and videos of his life and work intrigued me! I came out feeling joyful and inspired! A lovely way to spend some time.

SOLD - These two lamps were purchased by a lady to decorate her granddaughters’ sleepover bedroom in her house.

The floor lamp’s shade is made from an old, repurposed vintage curtain. It’s very hard to come by, but I managed to buy some more of this vintage fabric from a lady in the USA - it will be arriving in early December, so if you’d like a lampshade or cushions made from this gorgeous Peter Rabbit fabric too, just reach out. I have a pale pink, orange or lime green hand painted floor lamp base that it pairs beautifully with. 🩷🐰💚🐰🧡

These cute Peter Rabbit lampshades were a hit at the recent Vintage and Country Brocante market! So sweet for a child’s bedroom or nursery. The fabric is a vintage cotton. I’ve paired them with pink hand painted and ceramic lamp bases for this photo, but I have blue and green hand painted bases too 🌸🐇💚🐰💚🐇🌸

I’m so excited to be exhibiting and selling some new lamps that I’ve created especially for Hayden Andrew’s art exhibition at Gallery 8 in Southport from 5.30-9.30 tonight! Hayden’s beautiful paintings are full of colour and life! A perfect match for my vibrant lamps! The event is free, so come by and see Hayden’s paintings and my lamps up close, hear Hayden play his beautiful music, and have a 🥂🎉🍹to say “hi” and celebrate (P.S. The paintings in my photos are not Hayden’s - they are some old vintage ones I have displayed on the gallery wall in my own home) 🌸🩷🌺

The Vintage and Country Brocante was a beautiful market today! The sun shone outside and my lamps lit up the wine cellar! If you see anything you like please message me for prices or I can custom-make you a lampshade in the style, fabric or size of your choice.

Just one more sleep until The Vintage & Country Brocante with the gates being thrown open at 7.30 am and here is the line up of stallholders that you will find. It's the ideal time to stock up on some stocking fillers for the vintage lovers in the family, as well as treating yourself to something vintage for the home ang garde.

Please note that dogs, as much as we would love to see them, are not permitted in the vineyard grounds due to livestock not only in the vineyard grounds but at surrounding properties.

Please come armed with cash (last place to stock up is Canungra town) as there is no ATM at the vineyard.

Remember that O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards have wonderful food using local produced and their award winning wines, so why not end your visit with a lovely lunch. Their cake cabinet is worth a look too!.

We are watching the weather carefully and will update you if for any reason the event is cancelled. Please call Fi Baker on 0449 876 139 direct rather than the vineyard who have lots of vineyardy things to be getting on with.
