Most bottles just carry water.

This one carries impact 🌊

Every Ocean Bottle sold funds the collection of 1,000 plastic bottles worth of ocean-bound waste before it reaches the ocean.

• Made from 90% recycled stainless steel
• 10-year repair & recycle programme
• Designed to be used daily (and actually last)

It’s a small shift, but it changes what branded merchandise can do.

If you’re exploring more sustainable options for your team or next campaign, we’ve pulled together a range of eco-friendly promotional products on our website (link in comments).

Some partnerships become more than just projects over time.

We’ve been working alongside Cystic Fibrosis Queensland since 2017, supporting their events, campaigns and community initiatives in any way we can 🤍

From running singlets and tees to event signage, pins, socks and everything in between… it’s never just been about the products.

It’s about the people behind them.
The families.
And the cause that brings it all together.

May is Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, and you’ll see landmarks lighting up red across Queensland as part of ❤️

There’s also the 65 Roses Challenge, a simple and meaningful way to get involved, raise awareness and support the cystic fibrosis community.

Whether it’s through your workplace, your family or your community, every bit helps make a real difference.

This is what leadership looks like.

Our GM Luke Moriarty has stepped up as a Wingman for Grab Life By The Balls, supporting men in our local community through connection, conversation and showing up when it counts.

For many businesses, selecting new uniforms or site gear begins online, often with a search for workwear Australia suppliers or product options.

From there, decisions are made based on pricing, availability, or what looks right in a catalogue.

But workwear isn’t used in a catalogue. It’s worn on construction sites, in warehouses, across transport yards, and out in the field, where conditions are very different from how products are presented.

That’s why choosing the right workwear isn’t just about cost or appearance. It’s about how it performs where the work actually happens.

Workwear rarely fails in a dramatic way.

It fails quietly. Too hot by 10am.

Rubbing seams. Limited movement.

Hi-vis that ticks a box but doesn’t suit the environment.

And the result usually isn’t a complaint. It’s behaviour.

People wear it half-right, swap items out, layer over it, and suddenly your “uniform” isn’t uniform.

If you’re reviewing your current setup, we’ve broken it down in: How to Choose Gear That Performs on Site.

Most teams buy winter workwear like it’s one decision: pick a jacket, tick the box.

But winter on Australia job sites isn’t one condition. It’s a moving target: cold starts, warm middays, windy afternoons, and the occasional wet week thrown in.

That’s why the better approach is a simple system:
- Base layer to manage sweat (and stop that damp chill later)
- Mid layer for warmth without bulk
- Outer layer for wind/weather + visibility protection

Then you’ve got a setup people can adjust for comfort without breaking the basics.

And a practical note: if you wait until the cold snap hits, you’re not planning; you’re shopping under pressure (sizes disappear, substitutions creep in, and consistency drops).

DM “WINTER” and we’ll send you the link to our practical guide on winter workwear and when to order it for teams.

If you manage uniforms or branded gear for your team, this is what real impact can look like.

Confidence doesn’t always start in a classroom.
Sometimes it starts with a bike.

A bike.
A mentor.
An opportunity.

We’re proud to support TRACTION for Young People, an organisation helping at-risk youth build skills, confidence and resilience by working alongside mentors to build their own bikes.

What they’re really building is belief in themselves.

And the results are real 👇

Since launching, TRACTION has supported more than 2,500 young Queenslanders, helping young people reconnect with learning, community and opportunity.

Programs like Building Deadly Riding Deadly are supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth while strengthening cultural identity and wellbeing.

Behind the scenes, we support the TRACTION team with branded apparel, signage and merchandise across their programs and events.

Because while the bikes are built in the workshop, the real result is something much bigger: confidence, capability and a belief in what’s possible next.

Yesterday we talked about something you’ll see at almost every trade show.

Conference bags filling up quickly… and then quietly getting cleaned out a few days later.

Most promotional merchandise doesn’t disappear because the branding was wrong.

It disappears because the product stopped being useful the moment people left the venue.

The promotional merchandise that works best is usually chosen differently.

Not just for how it looks on the booth table.

But for where it will show up afterwards.

A desk.
A car.
Next to someone’s laptop.

We saw this play out at the Australian Crypto Convention while working with

Instead of handing out standard giveaways, visitors could customise caps with live embroidery and personalise mugs with laser engraving.

Something interesting happens when people help design the product themselves.

They keep it.

Those caps and mugs didn’t just work during the conference. They’re still showing up on desks, in offices and on coffee runs long after the event finished.

And every time they appear, the brand appears with them.

That’s usually the difference between merchandise that gets collected… and merchandise that keeps working.

If you’re planning an event this year, send us a DM with the word “EVENT” and we’ll share a few ideas that tend to stay in circulation long after the conference ends.

11/03/2026

Most promo merch never leaves the bag.

You pick it up at the trade show.
Carry it around the expo floor.
Then at some point later… it quietly disappears.

Not because the event failed.

Because the product stops working the moment people leave the venue.

Walk through any conference or industry expo and you’ll see the same pattern: bags filling with pens, novelty items and quick giveaways.

But by the end of the week, most of it’s gone.

The promotional products that actually work behave differently.

They don’t rely on the moment at the stand.
They stay in circulation long after the event finishes.

Drink bottles that sit on desks.
Tote bags that stay in the car.
Tech accessories that live beside someone’s laptop.

Every time the item shows up again, so does the brand.

That’s where promotional merchandise starts delivering real value, not from distribution, but from long-term visibility.

We break this down properly in this week’s article.

If you’re reviewing trade show merchandise this year, it’s worth a read.
