Chasing the base of the bowl…

A quick spoon in camphor laurel.
Usually I do the bowl of the spoon towards the end, and with it cradled in my hands. It helps me feel the way to the right depth.

Trying something different today: Clamped on a bench and carving out the bowl first. I’m enjoying how fast it’s working up.
