MONDAY TIPS 🔋👇

Although our techs are here, ready and available, we are sharing some tips below on how to safely replace your battery in case you just can't make it to us! 🪫

🔋 Safety First:
Park your car on a flat surface, turn off the ignition, and put on safety gloves and goggles.
🔋 Identify the Battery:
Locate your car's battery under the hood. It's usually a rectangular box with two terminals, marked positive (+) and negative (-).
🔋 Disconnect the Battery:
Start by removing the negative terminal cable followed by the positive one. Remember, negative first, positive last.
🔋 Remove the Old Battery:
Unfasten the battery hold-down clamp and carefully lift out the old battery. Be mindful of its weight—it can be heavy!
🔋 Clean the Terminals:
Use a wire brush to clean any corrosion on the battery terminals and cable ends.
🔋 Install the New Battery:
Place the new battery in the same position as the old one and secure it with the hold-down clamp.
🔋 Reconnect the Cables:
Attach the positive cable first, then the negative one. Make sure they're snug and secure.
🔋 Test It Out:
Start your car to ensure the battery is installed correctly. If it starts smoothly, you're good to go!
