Yesterday’s stitchery has turned into this… 🧵✂️

A little Sunday sewing, combining one of our stitcheries with Beloved, a beautiful new fabric collection that will be going online at Megelles this week.

I’m rather loving how this bag is coming together — soft florals, a little stitchery and, of course, a little bit of pink. 🌸

We’ve had some very hot property in the studio this week! 🏡😂 These gorgeous little stitchery panels have been flying out the door — we’ve already had one delivery and another has arrived.

I’ve even managed a little sewing myself, and my lovely friend Deb has stitched a couple of the designs for me ready to turn into samples for the Craft & Quilt Fair.

I haven’t quite decided what they’re going to become yet… so you’ll have to wait and see!

A few of you asked how I made my Tilda Village Life quilt, so here’s the block diagram and cutting sizes! 🩷

Each block finishes at 9 inches. I had so much fun choosing which prints to pair for the centres and frames.

Save the image for when you’re ready to sew, and if you make one, I’d love to see it!

I had such fun making this quilt with my Tilda Village Life samples while we were taking pre-orders. I couldn’t wait to show you how it turned out!

Nearly all the pre-order bundles have sold out. We have just two of the 14-piece blender quarter metre bundles left, and pre-orders go out on 1 October.

If you ordered Village Life, I hope you have as much fun sewing with it as I did.

My Memory Lane quilt is coming together—and Winnie (Rob & Grace’s kitten) has officially appointed herself my sewing room supervisor! 💕

I’ve been joining the blocks and loving how the soft florals, blues and greens are starting to look together. Winnie, however, was less interested in the quilt and far more focused on inspecting the cutting table, checking the fabric, and making sure I wasn’t making any suspiciously productive decisions. 🐈✂️

Yay, it’s Friday! 🩷 A little show & tell and some gorgeous new fabrics in the studio this week.

I finally worked out what to make with the Love & Stitches panel — a very cute little bag based on my Sophie Bag, with the outside made from just one panel. I think this one might have to come along to the Craft & Quilt Fair!

We’ve also added a lovely selection of Three Sisters solids, plus the gorgeous new Cath Kidston fabrics — and yes, I’m particularly taken with the pinks. No surprises there! 😂

Everything is up on the website now.

And apparently today’s studio assistants are Maggie and a sleeping George. Maggie may be slightly less helpful. 😂
