Fresh out of the workshop

We just finished building this custom Pivot mullet, running a 29" front and 27.5" rear wheel setup, finished off with a bold orange finishing kit chosen by the customer.

What an amazing bike. The orange Fox fork, matching grips and accents really make this build stand out. Fast, capable and ready for some serious trail time.

We can't wait to see this thing out on the trails of South East Queensland.

More speed, heaps of stability, and they’ll roll over the rough stuff without breaking a sweat.
It sounds like a dream, but there are definitely a few trade-offs to figure out.

​Here at NRG Cycles, we love seeing new tech push the game forward. Innovation is what keeps riding exciting.

That said, we’re still sitting on the fence with this one. Bigger wheels bring some real perks, but we have a few worries about how they’ll handle, how they’ll fit, and how the bike will actually feel on the trail before we’re ready to jump fully on board.

​What sounded absolutely wild a few years ago is starting to look like a real possibility.

​Could 32-inch wheels eventually replace the trusty 29er?

Have your say, Queensland riders!

Bicycle Queensland’s annual survey is now live, and it’s a chance for all of us who ride road, gravel, MTB, commuting or touring to help shape the future of cycling in QLD.

They’re looking for feedback on:

✔️ Advocacy
✔️ Events & programs
✔️ Membership benefits
✔️ How they can better support riders across Queensland

The survey is anonymous and open until June 21, plus there’s a chance to win prizes from brands like BONT, POC, Pure Nutrition, Ground Effect and more.

If you love riding bikes and want to see cycling continue to grow in Queensland, it’s worth taking a few minutes to fill it out.

Looking for a social ride without the stress?

​We’re lining up for our 2nd NRG Cycles gravel ride on June 27th 2:30pm, starting from the Rising Sun Hotel in Rosewood.

We had a great time with the crew who made it out to the first one, but we’re looking to bring a few more riders into the fold this time.

​No ego, no racing, just good gravel and better company. Come test out the legs and enjoy the Rosewood dirt.
