recently, our canberra-based pleasure guide, eleni, took the stage at a .cbr extra event 🧚

the evening was full of curiosity and connection. eleni shared that first drew her into s*xology, how that grew into a career, and what a s*xologist actually does day to day. she also shared the story behind flossy, why the company was created and what it means to bring pleasure guiding to the canberra community.

there were thoughtful questions, plenty of laughs, and moments that reminded everyone how important it is to have safe, welcoming spaces to explore s*x, pleasure, and wellbeing 💞

in honor of flossy co-founder ’s day of being born, please enjoy our very first DIY living room (self timer) photoshoot circa aug 2020…where it all began!! this was only a few months after caroline’s lack luster adult store experience that prompted ambar to hit the figma design board and come up with the name flossy (nickname for v@gina 😉). we decided, we needed “professional” pics (lollll) but didn’t have the budget—so these beauties now live rent free in the iphone photo bank. funny how much we’d give to go back to simpler times when we lived 5 minutes apart from eachother (now 7000 miles) when we could sit for hours unpacking the challenges of being women, exploring our bodies, and how we planned to carve out a space that makes it conversations around pleasure feel more comfortable.

flossy is so lucky to have you and we hope your day is filled with ALL the love you deserve—and maybe a new spicy toy or two 💞

fun fact: ambar went by “annie” on all things flossy up until recently because of work in an entirely male dominated field (and zero desire for extra questions about her “spicy toy side gig”). she’s officially closed that chapter and we now get “ambar” in her truest form—lucky us!!
