It’s show number 34 of 38 tonight of the USA/Canadian tour! I certainly wouldn’t be able to do it without my trusty Minnie Marks’ signature slide by The Rock Slide each and every night 💪🏼 For many years I longed for a small slide to fit my finger and went through hundreds of brands trying to do so with no luck 😔 That was until Danny from the Rockslide suggested that he would love to make me one for my specs. Such a cool story featuring our man Mike Massé

At a pizzeria in Utah, a singer named Mike sits down with his buddy Jeff to perform an acoustic rendition of Toto's "Africa" that was so good, Toto contacted them. The story starts with an incredible performance in a Pizzeria which went viral after Mike uploaded the video to his YouTube channel. The video was shared so much, it eventually came to the attention of Toto guitarist Steve "Luke" Lukather, who exchanged emails with Mike and invited him to one of Toto's shows. That night, Mike got to meet Toto's frontman and writer of Africa, David Paich. What David said to him he will always remember, "Thank you for covering my song, you sing it better than we do. Whenever I have someone over to my house, I show them your cover". Watch video in comments below 👇
