It's been a hot minute, so let me re-introduce myself .
My name is Tiana. I am the woman behind the La'ei Designs Brand and all the custom made Ribbon Lei's/Ula Lipine & Kahoas you see on this page.
Yes it's just me, myself and I who you message and interact with, who creates content, sources materials and makes the Leis & Sashes. But I cannot forget the support of my partner, and our 5 children.
This small business was founded in 2022 after creating my daughter, and her best friends Year 6 graduation Lei's/Ula's & Sashes. I officially launched in January 2023 after the attention and enquiries these sets got. And because loved ones encouraged me to make it a business, as there was no one in Australia making matching Lei/Ula & Sash sets, let alone attaching Graduation & Wedding Badges to their Lei's/Ula's which was uniquely different.
I'm honoured to create beautiful keepsakes, and customised items for customers and their loved ones. While upholding a strong cultural tradition and custom as a proud Samoan. That I know many Island nations also share in as well. I'm privileged knowing the Alofa that goes into placing an order, and then creating, and then gifting is full circle.
