Oh hey there! It's been a hot minute between posts! And by hot minute I mean around 4 months! 🙈
In that time there's been so much going on! I started working full-time, and I've been to 4 family funerals, two of which found me travelling to the ACT and WA, catching up with family and friends I hadn't seen in decades. I've focused on my health and found strategies to look after myself better in more manageable ways, and with the work I am doing, I'm moving my body more but not using too much energy in doing so, and have finally found a balance that solves a large portion of my mobility issues.
I haven't worked on anything related to this wonderful shop. I truly have not had the time. And finding a work/life balance in my new normal is proving to be challenging, but these last couple of weeks have shown me that it's not actually impossible.
I have ideas swirling around in my head and can't wait to get back into making again. My wonderful daughter is constantly reminding and encouraging me to get back into it, and I just love her enthusiasm for me and for this little shop.
I have appreciated your messages and your tags, and as always, your support. Yes, I am still here, and will be edging my way back very soon, pinky promise! 💗
