Sydney International Speedway β Update
A new season is almost here and the excitement is building. This will be a rebuilding year for Sydney International Speedway and we are working around the clock to make it one to remember.
We have some HUGE announcements coming, and the energy in the background is something we cannot wait to share with you all.
YES, Sprintcars WILL be racing in Sydney with a major series partner to be released in the coming days, and yes the Sprintcar Power Tour will still make its debut right here in Sydney on January 3rd.
Speedway motorcycle racing is confirmed for the venue after successful on site meetings with Motorcycling Australia and key industry specialists.
Important changes to the race track are underway as we work closely with the exact people who designed the venue, ensuring it performs at its very best for all forms of racing.
Some MAJOR events are in the final stages of planning, and will be announced when the time is right, alongside returning series and new partnerships that will help secure the future of the venue. Save the questions, be patient, and get ready, the announcements coming will be worth the wait.
We need to be clear, there is no place for the negativity, false information, and online attacks that have caused unnecessary harm to the sport these same people claim to love. Speedway thrives when the community gets behind it, and right now we need more people sharing the love and excitement rather than fueling the rumour mill.
Our plan remains to open the 25/26 racing season on Saturday October 11th and when the gates open, the focus will be where it belongs, on great racing, passionate fans, and a new era for Sydney International Speedway. Letβs get excited, letβs get behind the sport, and letβs make this season one to be proud of.
Sydney International Speedway is here, it is alive, and it is only getting stronger.
