My family and I are at the amazing Cirque du Soleil show Kooza....
Oh...wow! This is one of the most beautiful shows of theirs that I've seen- not because the scene dressing is so spectacular (though in true Cirque fashion, it doesn't disappoint!)
but because the artists are incredibly graceful!
Just mesmerising.
First half down, and about to start the second 🥰

Love, love, LOVE!
I can't imagine a better way to start 2026 than a Bone Carving class!
The first jewellery skill I learned and the one I've practiced the longest- and still my favourite of all the skills I've learned over the years.

Plowing away on the last of the homework to finish the business course I was doing with the Jewellers Academy all last year. Just a couple more weeks and then everything will be handed in.
It's a very exciting time- as well as a little sad, as I've become used to seeing everyone in my group at our monthly zoom meet ups- and I'll miss that, but I'm so excited to move forward with all the knowlege gained from this course.
The rest of the month will be housekeeping at the shop (time to find all those fiddly little pieces that sproinged off into the ether and were never found! LOL) have a bit of a furniture shift around, then spend the evenings dreaming up new classes and experiences for you all.

It feels like a bit of a weird mixture of GO GET'EM energy, while at the same time, there is a quiet, creative thread weaving through the days as my head and heart dream up classes and practices in this amazing slow craft of ours.
February will be here soon enough- and then I'll be opening the shop and diving back into the swing of things.
So for now, a mix of dreaming and doing as I see where this years path is shaping up to take me.

I'm excited to see you all again, and share more richly creative time with you in the workshop.
