I have six Waratah RU on the boil a moment and when finished 8 more. They now have their own one piece floor as per my assembly philosophy - couple minor fixes to be incorporated but what I have to good to scrap. Prints are 3 plus months old and stable.

They screw onto the body with four M1.7 self tapping screws to allow removal for the installation of future hardware. One piece brake assembly mounted onto 0.8 mm wire. Will have to create a jig to bend handrails, there are a pile to make, they are the last item.

When opened in 1947, it was a state-of-the-art steam locomotive facility.  Since 1994, the Roundhouse has seen a new lease of life. Half is now used for the museum, while the other portion is used for its original purpose of servicing and re-conditioning locomotives and rolling stock.

We have been posting 3d images' of a number of models that are have begin developing using 3D printing as the primary means of production. It has been a long, and sometimes a disappointing path, but at this point we have reached a point where the LV20 is now ready and the 6 different models of the CW cattle vans will follow in the next few months. These will be available in 7 mm - O scale quick build kit @ $198.00 inc. GST

This is a kit built model, verses previous development models.

The body and floor are one piece component, and require addition of the brake shoes, handbrake, wheels, rubber air hose and weights. The largest job is fabricating the wire parts, and we will supply a forming jig to assist this task. The body requires the addition of the end posts and bracket for the coupler cut bars. Most holes are drilled to a finished size. The floor is screwed to the body using four 1.7mm self tappers, provision is made for installation of Kadee couplers.

The video is of a sound recorder module for a specialized set of players for model railroads. As explained the wheels had all come off and it has taken me a long-g-g-g-g-g-g-g time to find them an set one of the three back on. Are we there yet, no but its back off the ground.

WEB SITE UPDATE - Like all plans you have to roll with it. The basic site is ready but when released will be a little under cooked but the goal is to get the kernel out there and working. We have to do this as the engine we build the site on originally, lost technical support when a larger company took over.

I know there will be comments, but I will welcome any they guide us on how to improve the interface over the coming months.

Thanks to all

Any one have information on the as delivered CW 1948 - this is a James McInerney model of Lambing Flats., James has clarified the 6'' height reduction mentioned was to fix a model error. I believe that the end is similar to the one below, but I have photo of two variants.

Maybe a fantasy model also?

Have the 3D model but would like a bit more info, even a happy snap.

The vertical posts were not installed at this time, so most likely early 1950. Any one have any information?

There is the extensive blurb on marshalling of trains ! In the general appendix . This issue was still a thing when I was at Enfield in the 1970s, particularly with special service wagons or ancient per way vehicles

Chris Miller
Livestock wagons were deliberately left with screw couplings so that they could be close coupled, to minimize slack action and potential injury to stock. By the early 1970s they had changed their mind and stock wagons were also fitted with auto couplings

I once fired a fodder train from Albury to Melbourne consisting of little wooden NSW four wheelers all with three link couplings. That would have been in about 1967. Slowest train I ever worked on the gauge, speed restricted to 30mph and put away for every thing. We got relief at Somerton with 15 hours in

This is an old Cattle Wagon there was also Double Decker Sheep Wagons in four wheelers and Bogies I worked Many a Full Train made up of either or mixed In my day at Parkes Loco
