Want your mural to stop people in their tracks — and keep them coming back? Here's what we're looking for:

📐 Design for people
Leave space for visitors to stand in the composition. Think open frames, doorways, or gestures that invite people into the scene.

🔆 Go bold with colour
High-saturation, high-contrast palettes that look stunning in sunlight and on a phone screen. Outdoor-rated paint required.

🤳 Make it photogenic
The best murals create a natural photo moment. If people want to stand in front of it — you're on the right track.

No secrets here — we believe in full transparency: 🏙️ Community Connection (30%) — How does your design celebrate Bendigo's story? 🎨 Artistic Merit (25%) — Composition, colour & originality. Professionals AND beginners welcome. 📐 Mural Suitability (20%) — Bold, scalable, readable from across the street. ✨ Lasting Appeal (15%) — Designs that stand the test of time. 🤳 Photo Potential (10%) — Create a spot people will want to photograph!
