Life has been super busy during these past few months due to winter sports ⚽️🏉
So not a lot of time for thrifting 😢

But I did get some down time with my family to celebrate my brother and his beautiful fiancés engagement party.
Needless to say we all frocked up and guess what nearly every item of clothing was op shopped or pre loved 🥰
Minus a couple of jackets.
I wore a beautiful Wayne Cooper events lace dress. Some of the items worn by the boys were Paul Smith, Fred Brack’s, Blaqu, Oxford, Politix & Gloweave.
What can I say, I think we all scrubbed up pretty well.

It’s been a quiet week here as I have had sick kids home all week 🤧
So I haven’t had a chance to get out and about thrifting.
So instead what better way to pass the time than to spend it with one of my other great loves 😍

I don’t follow fashion trends but instead prefer to wear what I love. Wether that be a current style dress or something that is 30 years old.
If I see it and it speaks to me and I can’t walk away from it then it comes home with me.

Got to spend the day out with my handsome hubby yesterday.
I think we both looked pretty smashing in our thrifted threads.
How amazing is the print on this dress, the photo really doesn’t do it any justice.
It is from when he used to design in Australia.
I felt like a queen in this dress, it fitted me perfectly in all the right places.
Be sure to look out for his pieces when you are out thrifting even keep an eye out for his .nyc pieces they are simply wonderful staples to have in your wardrobe.
Hubby wears Blaq Melbourne chino pants and a Politix shirt.

Wow what can I say 🤩

Thrifting this week has had me find some holy grail items 🙌🏻

This week is probably one of the best weeks I have had, next to finding Jimmy Choo at an op shop 👠👠👠👠

Instead I found GUCCI at an opshop 🤩🙌🏻
From the 2008 ready to wear collection 👗👗
Along
Carla Zampatti & Mulberry
I would say these have all come from the one person’s wardrobe.
They are all the same size and at the one opshop.

Also this week I have found

Johnny Was
No-l-ita ( exquisite Italian silk skirt)
Lots of base items.
Now to get to work 💪🏼

It was a pretty special day here today 🌈

My oldest son and I thrifted our first garage sale together 👩‍👦

Not much in the way of resell items for myself.

But my son found picking gold for his collection 🙌🏻

These original new in their packaging ( a little damaged though)
Early Holden Locking Filler Caps.

To see the look on his face and the pure joy in finding such a treasure was the highlight of my week ⚡️

These will remain in his collection until such time he may use them for one of his own restoration projects 🚗🚗🚗

So I wasn’t going to go thrifting today, as I didn’t have enough time to enjoy a good browse.
BUUUUT I had a few spare minutes between jobs.
I’m always on the lookout for activewear 👀
Usually manage to find tops and bottoms.
Today I hit jackpot 🎰
A matching Ryderware Set in perfect brand new condition 😍😍
Still deciding if I’m parting with it or not yet 🤔

DEATH PILE WEEK 😵😵
This week I am focusing on going through my long standing pile of doom.

My Mantra 💪🏼 I will sort, list and re-donate anything that doesn’t serve it’s purpose.

I’m pulling my hair out thinking about this job🤯 but I have to declutter and make way for new items.

When I’m out thrifting this week my main focus will be to look out only for my BOLO items until I move some of this on.

Not unless I see something super super special that I just can’t leave behind 👀
