Know their names. Raymond Green, Ashley Paugh, Derrick Rump, Daniel Aston, Kelly Loving.
Know their lives. 4 out of 5 were trans.
Know that they should have continued to live beautiful lives.
Know that they were murdered for being at a gay bar in Colorado by the 22 year old grandson of MAGA California Assemblyman Randy Voepel.
Know that those in the bar tried to intervene and prevent their murders, and saved countless more.
Know that acts of violence small, and large against q***r, trans, gay people for being who we are happen every day in the United States.
Know that we are mourning, that this hits home on a profound level, even if we didn’t directly know the victims.
Know that we need, and deserve more than sad posts on the internet — we need accountability, policy change, and action.
Know that the most impactful way you can support, and love the q***r community right now is to put time, and energy into action that protects us.
