Position: General Assistant (Casual, 6–8 weeks)
The Big Mower is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic junior / school leaver who’s interested in gaining hands-on experience during the coming 6–8 weeks.
🛠️ About the Role:
General workshop and yard duties
Cleaning, assembling machinery and equipment
Helping the team with day-to-day tasks
Opportunity to learn about outdoor power equipment

If you’re energetic, enthusiastic and good with people, enjoy staying busy, and don’t mind getting behind the wheel — we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing:
• Helping customers in-store with friendly, knowledgeable service
• Keeping the shop floor tidy, stocked and looking good
• Picking up stock and making local deliveries
• Assisting with general retail and workshop support when needed
What we’re after:
• A valid driver’s licence and safe driving record
• A great attitude and solid communication skills
• Someone who’s dependable, organised, and happy to help wherever needed
• Retail or delivery experience is a bonus (but not essential)

We’re looking to add 2 new employees to our team

1. Mechanically Minded Technician
Enjoy working with your hands?
This role involves repairing and maintaining a variety of lawnmowers and outdoor machinery.
Assembling of new machinery.
Previous experience is great, but a passion for fixing things is key!

2. Pick-Up & Delivery Driver
Prefer being on the road? This role involves picking up and delivering equipment to our customers.
A clean driving record and ability to handle large machinery are required.
Friendly, professional communication with customers is a plus!

Both roles are Monday to Friday and competitive pay. If you’re reliable, eager to learn, and want to be part of a great team, we’d love to hear from you!
