Beauty by Em is closed today due to illness.

Thank you so much to everyone for being so understanding and supportive—it truly means a lot.

Running a business on my own means sick days can be tough, with appointments to reschedule and everything else still needing to be managed behind the scenes. I really appreciate your patience, and I may be a little slower than usual replying to messages while I recover.

Just a gentle reminder that if you’re feeling unwell, please don’t hesitate to reschedule your appointment. There is never a fee for rescheduling due to illness, and I’d always prefer to keep everyone healthy.

Good morning everyone 🤍

We thought we’d keep you all updated regarding the townhouse development that is commencing behind our shop at 23 Birnam Street.

Firstly, don’t panic – our shop isn’t going anywhere! We’ll still be operating from the same location; however, there will be a few temporary changes while the development gets underway.

From Monday, we will unfortunately be losing access to our driveway, so all client parking will need to be out the front of the shop or along the street.

Our salon will also be closed on Monday as our water supply will be temporarily disconnected while the water services are upgraded in preparation for the development.

We completely understand that this may be frustrating or concerning. Please know this news came as quite a shock to us as well, and we’re doing our best to navigate everything as it unfolds.

Over the coming months, there may be some construction noise during appointments. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through this, and we’ll continue to keep everyone updated if anything changes.
