So, a little glimpse into what we are trying to achieve.

We want to be a hobby-store with a difference. Somewhere you can get your contemporary kits, but also the nostalgia heavy kits from the 60's, 70's and 80's. These kits that arrived over the past week are heavy nostalgia, dialled up to 11.

The Matchbox Flower Class Corvettes, boxed in 1980, are pretty well 'unicorns' these days, especially in the minty fresh condition one of these kits arrived in. The other, that we've worked on today has cleaned up really well. A couple of hours work to get it ready for a new home.

We know some will be critical of us acquiring these, repairing the boxes, and selling on to folks who may never build them. We get that. But we also get that many of us, hold some kits with a reverence, a particular boxing.
You can build this kit as the Revell brand, made from the same moulds. But the boxing matters. The box is what your late parents bought you for Christmas in 1984, you unwrapped it listening to "Do They Know It's Christmas' playing on your sisters tape player... its what you saved for months to purchase, and sat building at the kitchen table 35 years ago, your dad watching you, with a little awe in his eyes.

And thats what we want to do here. Bring back those memories.

We want to find those kits we remember too well, with all the great memories attached to them, and get them back in your hands.

Anyways, thats a long enough post. These two classics will be on sale soon.

So, as we promised, we have an awesome competition for followers of the page.

Remember the feeling as a kid, when you'd get the newest Tamiya catalog and flip through the pages, the smell of the print, the thick paper stock.... And then, PDF files ruined it all!
