One thing we’ve never really captured properly before is the making side of the studio.

The machine room and the cutting room is usually a hive of activity, with the sewing machines going, the laser engraving machine running, leather spread across the tables and everyone working away on different pieces at once.

Working alongside Eloise and Theo, passing on my knowledge and learning myself, from their incredible young minds, is something I genuinely love, and it was really nice to finally capture this side of North St Studios, because it’s such a big part of what happens here every day.

So much time, care and love gets poured into these handmade pieces long before they ever make it onto the shelves.

One thing I’ve always loved about North St. Studios is being able to surround ourselves with the work of talented people we genuinely admire.

These beautiful handmade kitchen and cheese knives are crafted by our dear friend Barry Gardner, who lives in our local town of Angaston, and you might have seen him and his creations in Seppeltsfield at The Tiny Knife Shop, . They really are something special.

The craftsmanship, balance and detail in each piece is incredible, and you can feel the amount of time, skill and care that goes into making them from scratch. I have one of Barry’s knives in my own kitchen and use it constantly.

We always like to keep a selection of his work here in the studio, and they pair beautifully with our handcrafted leather knife rolls as well.

There’s something really nice about supporting friends, makers and small businesses who are all putting so much of themselves into what they create.

A new little addition at North St. Studios ☀️

Our handcrafted solid perfumes are made with 100% soy wax, organic coconut oil and a collection of beautiful, unique fragrances.

Each scent has its own personality, with artwork by on every tin to tie together the creative spirit of North St Studios.

From the warm richness of Cuban & Cognac, through to the softer floral notes of Water Lily and Angel Wings, there’s something quite personal about finding the scent that feels right for you.

Vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, and designed to be carried with you wherever you go.

A little update with our North St Studios team photo ☀️

Jason and myself of course, Theo, and Eloise who has been alongside me for quite a long time now and become such a big part of everything here.

We recently had a little refresh shoot with .and.co and really loved how these photos turned out.

Feeling very grateful for these people, this space and everything we continue to build together.
