Neil Cole is one of our mates. He is an author and playwright.
Shawry is a play about Tony Shaw, captain of the 1990 Collingwood premiership team. Neil wrote this play five years ago and it had a very successful run at Chapel on Chapel. We were there on opening night and really enjoyed it.
Shawry is being reprised as a fundraiser for the Royal Melbourne Hospital's Mood Disorder Unit, a unit that offers treatment for people with depression that nothing else has worked for. Tony Shaw's brother tragically took his own life.
