One of the stars of the Lionesses, who scored a key goal in England's semi-final win at Euro 2025, has revealed the role music plays in her life off the pitch.

19-year-old Michelle Agyemang spoke of her love of the piano in a recent interview with BBC Sport, revealing that she even brought her keyboard with her to Switzerland. "I play the piano, the bass guitar and the drums," she said. "I have my piano in my room so I'm spending a lot of time in there just playing and chilling."

"I don't think that there's a day that I go without playing it because it's right in front of me. Especially on game days I probably spend about two hours just playing and enjoying myself."

So while coding remains a valuable skill, researchers suggest that music offers deeper, longer-lasting cognitive development. If you want to future-proof your child's mind, a violin, guitar, or keyboard might be a better investment than an app or programming course.

Bottom line? Music isn’t just an art it’s brain food.

Hey, I just realised - for some strange reason??!!!
Haynes Pianos is 65 years of age this year - est 1959.
We are still here and still looking after all our customers - personally.
I will post older pictures of the shop - when I get time!!
Not many older piano businesses in Australia (that is the only pat on the back I will allow!)😁

A busy week, Haynes Pianos was back good as new at 445 Smollett St, and we also provided 2 lovely pianos for the Albury Eisteddfod.
I don't know how many years we have provided this service - dad (Ian) was probably doing it not long after I entered this world?!!
Haynes Pianos supplies, tunes, services and does the piano removals, all gratis, as our way of encouraging musicians in our area.
This is the best way Haynes Pianos (and family) can show our love of albury-wodonga and its musicians.

Yes, after 24yrs in Smollett St and being established in Albury in 1959, Haynes Pianos is.........................................Getting a new ceiling and carpet!!!!😁
The builders will be in the showroom for the next 2 weeks.
I will be at the back of the shop and all will going along as normal - so if you need piano restorations, sales or tunings just contact me.
The shop should look like new in 14 days.
