This ornament is a special one as was made by Julie-Anne Twigg , who was a wonderful group moderator of DUST Etsy . I made lots of like minded friends in this online group and even though we didn’t meet face to face we chatted online most days. She also was the organiser of Secret Santa handmade gift swaps. I was lucky enough to be paired with her one year and this ornament was one of the gifts she made. Tragically she passed away in 2011 on an angel flight trip with her daughter . This goes up in her memory each year, never forgotten 🥰🎄😇

Come and strike a pose-y! 💐 We have been simply overwhelmed by the wonderful community response to “Blossom” our call out to help create a special Festival arch with hundreds of crocheted wildflowers 🌈

With blooms received from locals and interstate we are thrilled with the final piece installed at the entrance to Aspects 😍 Thanks a bunch 💐 to everyone who took part - take a careful look through the hundreds of flowers to spot your piece and other wonderful WA wildflowers!

It’s a perfect photo spot 📸 We can’t wait to see you!

As you walk through the arch, make sure to also pause to enjoy beautiful sounds from harpist Rowan Rovere between 10am - 3pm during the festival.

I’ve had a love/hate relationship going on with this for a few years . I bought the gorgeous yarn from a local source but did not get enough to complete the jumper . It went into the cupboard and forgotten. After a clean out of said cupboard I decided to finish it off as best I could and the jumper became a vest 🤗 #
