Really nice gel

"I've been looking for an Australian made gel to replace one of three difficult to find international products i've been using. I've now tried this gel in a few different combo's now and each time I've had a great result. I've even been able to replace two of the three products with just this one. I still find I need a harder hold gel over the top - but this product is great in my routine and gives great results. I will definitely be changing the other two gels out for this one."-Michelle

"I glued my hair together " read on to learn the journey of the blue agave hair gel.
Did you know the blue agave gel took over 2.5 years to formulate?

This powerhouse was my original product I tried to create. I wanted a one and done product, a leave in conditioner with hold was my plan.
One that offered moisture and great control yet didn't leave a hard, heavy or sticky residue.
Traditional gels use polymers, a synthetic ingredient which is a fixative.
I experimented using different polymers thinking I wasn't going to try to change the world just tweak what others before me had done.
Every time it was dry, or offered little hold.
Then a client mentioned low waste bars and how the conditioners don't work.
That jumped me off the styler formulation train and straight into the bars which resulted in the first product of the curly bird range. The Co-Wash conditioner bar.
I never stopped thinking about the styler, even trialing low waste options. I tried flaxseed based gels and gum based and it was just missing the punch.

Then one day it hit me, I mixed up a batch with my new ingredient, it was the day I actually glued my hair together. The funny thing was, I actually filmed it. One day I might share it, there's me trying to scrunch out this impossible cast. Couldn't even get my fingers to my scalp, it hurt.
I finally had the hold I was chasing I jus needed to pair it back quite a bit.

It's a fun product to batch, one timing delay and you're in a whole new world of catastrophe but it's 100% worth it.
Bringing a product to market that is completely unique, based on creation, knowledge, research and a hell of a lot of trial and error makes every time someone tells you how much they love it so much sweeter.

So never give up, never stop trying, Step back and take a look from another angle. You will get there.

So many amazing features but the best is how one product is all you need for beautiful hydrated curls and waves to keep them frizz free and defined.
