This year flew serving here and we are very grateful for faithful prayers and timely help from many bookshop friends. Your frequent encouragement is a real blessing to Maxine and me.

Our phone is currently faulty preventing outward calls, so any calls I make will be after hours. Please visit the shop or phone in to check up on those special orders, several have arrived including the periodical devotionals which begin in January.

Until Christmas , the shop will be open for as long as our lights are on including Saturday 21st and Monday 23rd.
On Christmas Eve we will open from 10 am to 1 pm.

We will close for two weeks for our usual Christmas/New Year holiday, reopening at 10am on Wednesday 7th January.

Celebrate Christ with boldness and joy. He is our peace, may Australia return to Him.

We plan to open tomorrow, 13 Dec, from about 9.30 am till 12.30 pm, for those who can't come during the week. We still have Christmas cards, ornaments, nativities, books and other gift lines, so come along and check it out.

Spotlight on Australian authors!

We have a variety of books by Aussie authors across a wide range of genres including; biography, children's, gift, general fiction and romance novels.

New titles include; new releases by Anne Hamilton, Jenny Glazebrook, Carolyn Miller, Amanda Deed and Meredith Resce, 'The Craving' by J.F. Saxby (Winner of the Caleb Prize), titles by Adele Jones and more.

It is great to be back after a 70 day road trip to NSW & QLD which included bookshop and agricultural appointments interspersed with R&R by rivers & the sea.
We attended two annual events - CBAA National Trade Show for the bookshop, the VicNoTill (farmers helping farmers) Conference, several farm visits plus the biannual Omega Writers Conference and a Brisbane Chapter training afternoon.
Especially delightful was meeting dozens of independent Australian Christian authors and creatives, learning a little of their journeys into producing what they do, so we can introduce them to you.
Now we are busy rearranging displays to showcase new Aussie titles and items to offer in store...
Many thanks to lovely, faithful Maxine for keeping the bookshop open while Judi was away so long.......

Have you seen our growing collection of books by Australian authors? Books by locals - like S.M. Nostrini and Beverlie Stanway - and books like the Trinity Lakes Romance Collection, written by Omega Writers authors, including Meredith Resce, Jenny Glazebrook and Narelle Atkins.
We also have an assortment of non-fiction titles, including books by Anne Hamilton, and previous winners of the Australian Christian Book of the Year award.

Dear valued customers,

2023 has flown by and Christmas is nearly here. We want to thank you all for your support and wish everyone a very happy, safe and blessed Christmas and new year.
For the next two weeks we will be open Monday-Friday before closing for a period over the holidays.
We look forward to continuing to serve you in 2024!

Don’t feel sorry for or fear for your kids because the world they are going to grow up in is not what it used to be.

God created them and called them for the exact moment in time that they’re in. Their life wasn’t a coincidence or an accident.

Raise them up to know the power they walk in as children of God.

Train them up in the authority of His Word.

Teach them to walk in faith knowing that God is in control.

Empower them to know they can change the world.

Don’t teach them to be fearful and disheartened by the state of the world but hopeful that they can do something about it.

Every person in all of history has been placed in the time that they were in because of God’s sovereign plan.

He knew Daniel could handle the lions den. 
He knew David could handle Goliath.
He knew Esther could handle Haman.
He knew Peter could handle persecution.
He knows that your child can handle whatever challenge they face in their life. He created them specifically for it!

Don’t be scared for your children, but be honored that God chose YOU to parent the generation that is facing the biggest challenges of our lifetime.
Rise up to the challenge.

Raise Daniels, Davids, Esthers and Peters!

God isn’t scratching His head wondering what He’s going to do with this mess of a world.

He has an army He’s raising up to drive back the darkness and make Him known all over the earth.

Don’t let your fear steal the greatness God placed in them. I know it’s hard to imagine them as anything besides our sweet little babies, and we just want to protect them from anything that could ever be hard on them, but they were born for such a time as this.
