A $557M NSW energy program could unlock more solar and battery jobs for installers.

The NSW Government’s Home Energy Saver program is now open for loan applications, helping eligible homeowners and landlords access zero-interest loans of up to $15,000 for energy-saving upgrades.

This includes rooftop solar, residential batteries, switchboard upgrades, EV Level 2 chargers and more.

Discount applications are also coming soon, with up to $4,000 available for eligible lower-income households, concession card holders and renters with landlord approval.

For solar retailers and installers, this could help reduce the upfront cost barrier and drive stronger demand for solar, battery storage and home energy upgrade projects across NSW.

Inside AlphaESS at Smart Energy Conference 2026!

During SEC week in Sydney, Energy Spurt’s National Product Manager Sean Powell visited the AlphaESS stand to explore the latest updates across their energy storage range.

One of the key highlights was the expanded G3 T-Series three-phase lineup, with broader inverter capacity options, updated battery configurations, and improved installation flexibility.

For installers, these updates mean more flexibility when designing systems for different site requirements, customer needs, and growing demand across residential and commercial projects.

A strong showcase from AlphaESS and another great opportunity for our team to stay close to new technology, our manufacturing partners, and the installers we support across Australia.

Energy Spurt was proud to bring an AI-powered experience to Smart Energy Conference 2026 alongside Sigenergy.

The interactive AI robot became a real talking point throughout the week, giving visitors a fun and different way to engage with the latest energy technology on display.
