Happy birthday - thirteen years of Kutumba 🤍
What began in 2013 as a small shop on Jetty Road, Largs Bay has been so much more than a business. Kutumba has been a bridge — between cultures, between homes, between past and present.
Built from a deep love for Nepal, and in honour of my children’s heritage, it has always been about connection. Supporting Nepali artisans, sharing their stories, uniting my local community and surrounding my kids with the richness, beauty and spirit of their other homeland.
Over the years, Kutumba has taken many forms — workshops, Nepal tours, cooking classes, dinner nights, and becoming part of the Meet the Maker Collective. It has grown and shifted alongside our lives, our family, and all that we’ve moved through.
These days, things are quieter. But still here — holding on, evolving, and finding its place, with our felt collection now in the Adelaide Arcade Meet the Maker store.
Life has a way of reshaping things. Of asking you to pause, to change, to carry what matters forward in a different way.
And Kutumba… has never stopped being about love, culture, and connection.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, shared, and been part of this journey over the past 13 years. It means more than you know.
Here’s to where we’ve been — and whatever comes next, Joh ### 🤍
