Factory Original June 1964 Fender Precision Bass…”Fiesta Red” courtesy of the annual DuPont paint catalogue of the era. Brazilian Rosewood “Veneered”Fretboard, Spaghetti logo decal, Clay Dot Fretboard Markers, Green Nitrate Celluloid Pickguard, with Covers and “Aussie” supplied from new Stamford Case. I removed the Neck to adjust the relief and it was pretty clear that it was the first time those screws had been turned anti clockwise, same with the Bridge and Pickup Covers. 1-3/4” C Nut width.
Argue this by all means, but I suspect that the majority of us would call this the most iconic Bass of all of them all!

A Twang Xmas arrival! 1960 Gibson ES335TD in a glorious and original Sunburst Finish. So, it’s Dot inlaid, It has the all important Patent Applied For Humbucking Pickups, this is the earlier “long Guard” version (soon to disappear in that same year) the “non retaining wire” ABR-1 Bridge, Klusons “Single Line” Tuners with Tulip Buttons, along with the all important Brown “Lifton” Pink lined Case!
Been really well refretted with appropriate Fretwire. No Neck or Body Cracks. There are 3 things a guitar has to do eh! Put them in your own order, but they are as follows. Sound great, Play Great and Look great.....This does all three as well as you could ask for! A great “in” for the store, already well received by those who have played it!

We lost one of Australia’s great guitarists and one of the nicest guys in the music scene yesterday. RIP Glen Hannah!

Lefty Heaven! Yup, we are looking after the "afflicted" here at Twang! A couple of 1967 Tele's, a 1964 Strat, a 1973 Les Paul "Goldtop" Standard. Gibson records show that there was one only "Lefty" of these made with full sized Humbuckers, all the rest were "Deluxe's". As well there is a neat 1974 SG a 1968 Fender Precision Bass!

in the other pic we have a 1948 Martin D18....Find another One guys!

Hi Folks, Welcome to the day one of the Adelaide Guitar Festival. Hope you are all getting into it on some level.
speaking of which, our part in things is to run a "Fringe" show that runs parallel with this big show.
So, we have assembled what is likely the finest collection of Vintage Guitars this Town has ever seen. All for your perusal! These pics show you what is an incredible collection of Acoustic Guitars from the "Golden Era" of CF Martin and Gibson. Mostly Pre-War stuff, plus a hundred years of American and Hawaiian Ukulele. Come on in and check them out over the duration of the Festival, have a glass of Red and some nice Cheese etc....

Feel free to call for vintage gear chats, demo sessions and live sets all in store for free, cheers!
