LEBANESE HISTORY FESTIVAL - Sunday 24th May
As part of History Festival Month, the Australian Lebanese Association warmly invites you to a full day of cultural discovery on Sunday 24th May from 11am to 5pm at the Fullarton Park Community Centre, 411 Fullarton Road, Fullarton (Corner of Fisher Street and Fullarton Road).
Experience a rich cultural display showcasing Arts, Food, Music, and Dance, celebrating the proud contributions of the Lebanese community in Australia, and also with a special food stall prepared and run by our Maronite Ladies Committee!
Throughout the event, visitors can explore:
- π¦πΊ Australian Lebanese ANZAC displays, honouring service and sacrifice
- ποΈ A listing of World War Two Veterans, remembering Australiaβs history and heritage
- Traditional π±π§ Lebanese πͺπͺ Entertainment
- Traditional π±π§π Dancing (Dubke)
- Traditional π±π§π―π§π Lebanese Food (Mezze)
- Books and Artefacts from many inspirational Lebanese π±π§ποΈπ people throughout history.
