Tomorrow morning I won't just have my usual bread, pretzels and cakes. I baked a German onion tart. It's not just onions but also some streaky bacon ----- and I can say it's just delicious.
This tart is served in Germany, Switzerland and East of France in autumn and it gets served with the first wine of the season the "federweißer".

Here we could have it as a snack with wine or beer or with a salad on the side as a full dinner.
I hope you come to have a try and enjoy.

It is said for weeks, there will be rain in the next couple of hours or tonight or right now or tomorrow - I can't wait to get some rain for sure - but I will be at the market tomorrow morning with bread, pretzels, simit and cakes
