This is my beautiful husband, John.
He’s a wonderful father, a loving husband, a loyal friend, and quite possibly the best unpaid employee I’ve ever had! ☺️
John is a proud Irishman and a true Dubliner, and I feel incredibly lucky ☘️ that our paths crossed all those years ago.
This weekend is his birthday, and he’s chosen the blooms for our flower cart. Inspired by his Irish heritage, the arrangements will feature the colours of the Irish flag — green, white, and orange — in a celebration of both Ireland and the man behind the flowers. 🇮🇪☘️
His birthday also coincides with Men’s Health Week, which takes place each June and serves as an important reminder to promote and support the health and wellbeing of men and boys in our communities.
The men in our lives often carry stress in different ways, and their wellbeing deserves just as much attention, care, and understanding. Whether it’s checking in with a friend, making time for a conversation, or encouraging someone to seek support when they need it, small acts can make a big difference.
So this weekend we’re celebrating John, his birthday, his Irish roots, and the importance of looking after the men we love.
