It’s definitely hard not to love the Pilea. It is however not hard to get it's name wrong! (pronounced "pepper-romeo-oi-dees"). Honestly though, we just call it the Chinese money plant 🌱💰

The FLF can be somewhat temperamental, however once you get it right, they are so rewarding to care for 🌱 The main thing to think about is that they're native to West Africa and it's important to replicate that environment as closely as you can.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ They prefer bright-indirect/direct light 🌞 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ West Africa tends to be drier and has big rain when it happens. They'll prefer to be kept on the drier side with a good drenching of water when required 💦 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣ Those big leaves need food! Make sure to use a good fertiliser during the growing periods 🍃 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣ Moving them around constantly can cause leaf drop. Find a nice spot in your home and allow them to acclimate over a few weeks 🏡 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
