What a roller coaster the last 10 years has been. I love being a creative. I love creating things for others to enjoy. What I don’t love is the stress that comes with running a small business.
As we close the doors on the last 10 years and prepare to reinvent ourselves for this incredible milestone, I’ve been reflecting on everything this journey has taught me. It’s given me the opportunity to think deeply about what I truly enjoy, what inspires me, and how I can continue to hone my skills while focusing on the parts of this business that bring me the most joy.
With that reflection comes change.
Over time, I feel like we’ve lost a little of our identity, and so I’m going back to the drawing board. I’m taking the time to rediscover our purpose, redefine our vision, and create something that feels authentic, exciting, and sustainable for the future, and for me.
I want to continue doing what I love, but I also want to build a business that allows for balance. A business that supports a life outside of work and gives me the space to enjoy the moments that matter most.
To every customer, family member, and friend who has supported me over the last 10 years, I can’t thank you enough. Your encouragement, loyalty, and belief in BBCo has made this journey possible, and I am so grateful for every one of you.
As we wrap up, we begin preparing for the grand reveal of our new branding and store on 1st of July. I cannot wait to share our new vision, this exciting new chapter, and everything we’ve been working hard on behind the scenes.
