Spent today spring cleaning, changing out boxes moving birds about putting in some new toys, perches etc - we have a few birds on eggs but nothing huge to report here yet, this warmer weather has certainly been nice this weekend! :) We will definitely be expecting quite a few greencheeks this season/ for those who don't know we've scaled things right back while we are working full time/ we will not be expected to have any young available to the public this season apart from greencheeks and those requested to be raised. This miss mop was in our communal aviary so I moved her with her mate to a private tower slot :) this way she gets a bit more peace also :) she had 9 young last season so we had intended on letting her chill and not breed this year 😂🙈 apparently she had other ideas.

Our DF jade blue normal greencheek conures are a favourite though underrated mutation 😊 they remind me of the ocean blue/greens. The way the light hits them and how they change colour ❤️❤️❤️

Hands down one of my favourite personalities this season I'm surprised she's still here tbh. She is a Single Factored Violet Blue Yellowsided Greencheek Conure Hen. Decided to come up and see if I was tasty while I was feeding out. I think she was more interested in the tasty food available though 😂 Don't mind my humming.

So, just came across this post about wing clipping provided by a vet and thought I'd remind everyone that if ever you need a bird clipped please feel free to contact us! We will happily do so free of charge! So many so called professionals out there who have no idea and can caus long term damage to your babies :( we are also happy to educate people how to do it yourself properly and explain exactly why and how. It's very simple.
