▪️„VOL. 1“ the (originally self-released) 2024 debut album & errm „VOL. 2“ its 2025 successor by ANGINE DE POITRINE

…a self-described „mantra-rawk Dada Pythago-Cubist Orchestra“!

Endlessly fascinated by Hot Dogs, Pyramids & the sheer grandeur of Rawk music & having performed together in various projects since the age of 13, time-traveling Canadian duo Khn de Poitrine (Guitar, Bass – all at once!) & Klek de Poitrine (Drums) invented their very own Sound – hard groovin‘ yet complex microtonal Compositions influenced by classic Math- & Experimental-Rawk & absurdist image, w/oversized papier-mâché masks & black-and-white polka-dotted costumes (if you haven’t yet, for clarity, check their KEXP session out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ssi-9wS1so&list=RD0Ssi-9wS1so&start_radio=1)

From an „Andy Kaufman-esque joke“ w/not „remotely fashionable“ music to „almost supernaturally entertaining“ world-domination w/the beautiful attribute of being able to „dance this mess around!“

Re-issue of the fantastic Karin Dreijer Andersson’s (of The Knife fame!) 1st solo album, originally released 12 January 2009. Alternately chilly & warm, wistful & foreboding, expansive & claustrophobic w/surreal & emotional Lyrics & atonishing Vocal treatments make for an all-enveloping experience built upon contrasts. Brilliant, glacial sonic architecture, a beautiful & understated gem & maybe the greatest Electronica album of 2009 („that it may not make sense to play if you’re prone to nightmares“) & thus an ESSENTIAL life changing LISTEN!

Harry Whitaker, William S. Fischer & Charles Tolliver this is an extraordinary set of sophisticated Funk w/the master on Vibraphone!

▪️THE MODERN LOVERS - ROCK ‚N‘ ROLL WITH THE MODERN LOVERS (Limited numbered Silver Vinyl Edition) (Silver Vinyl) LP (Music On Vinyl) – re-issue of the 2nd album released as Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers originally released by Beserkley August 1977. Produced by Butch Vig & (of course) Billy Corgan, P-Fork thinks „without Gish, there would probably be no Nevermind as we know it“ – a Grunge blueprint, not coming from Punk but rather from epic Art-Rawk w/sub-sabbath rush & tones of shimmering, psychedelic Dream-Pop. Quite nyce!
