Design Is Served is our second exhibition hosted at Isola Space Dubai.

This curated selection looks at contemporary tableware, holiday entertaining, and the rituals that bring people together. Featuring a refined showcase of work by local and international designers from the Isola community, the exhibition moves between functional objects and expressive pieces, inviting reflection on craftsmanship, tradition, and how we gather around the table.

The exhibition opened in early December with a curated breakfast and a roundtable discussion exploring the multisensory experience of hosting, from atmosphere and sound to food and presentation.

The exhibition is open for one more week, so come experience it in person.

Discover the projects currently featured at Isola Space!
d.e.t.r.i explores the poetry of everyday rituals through sculpturally shaped glassware, handmade in their Istanbul atelier. Working with borosilicate and crystal glass, the studio moves between organic hand-blown forms and precise molded structures, allowing material and process to shape each object’s character.

From Lovers, where two glasses lean, kiss, and balance intimacy with function, to Dis-Moi, a singular object that captures the tension of first dialogue through shifting curves, and Scarpa, an architectural series inspired by Carlo Scarpa’s precision, each piece reflects a dialogue between softness and structure, use and expression. Designed to be held, used, and observed, these objects turn the act of drinking into a quiet moment of connection.

Discover the projects currently featured in the Isola Space’s store & exhibition!

Levvi by is a sculptural exploration of ancient ritual and futuristic form. Designed as a dual-purpose object, it functions seamlessly as both a minimalist candle holder and a traditional mubkhar for burning bukhoor. Its stacked, organic stone discs create a “floating” silhouette that feels grounded in materiality yet extraterrestrial in inspiration.

Levvi is a piece designed for movement and social connection. It aims to elevate the home atmosphere with scents that feel like they belong to another galaxy, fulfilling its mission to transform your space through the art of fragrance. To maintain its “cosmic energy,” this piece invites you to move it throughout your home, allowing its unique machine-like presence to upgrade every corner and conversation.

Discover the projects currently featured at Isola Space!

The Luz Series by explores the tension between mass and fragility through Winterset limestone. These pieces act as modern relics, bearing the raw traces of their ancient origin and industrial fabrication. A solid base supports an elevated stone volume, held in suspension by a minimal stainless steel rod, a delicate intervention that connects the primordial with the industrial.

This assembly is transformed into a ritual through the simple act of lighting a candle, inviting the viewer to slow down and engage with the material’s history. Each piece in the series is unique, reversing the stone’s cycle of decay to become a ceremonial anchor within our personal environment.

Rooted in the Nile as a timeless source of life, this collection transforms ancient Egyptian iconography into contemporary tableware, objects that carry stories of heritage, beauty, and everyday magic. Curated by .co and brought to life by in collaboration with artist , the project reimagines the river not only as nourishment, but as the origin of an entire ecosystem of culture and aesthetics. Past and present flow together here, turning the table into a space where history feels alive, relevant, and quietly powerful.

The holiday season is a mood, slower days and the simple pleasure of gathering around a table where food and design make you feel held. This vision came to life at Isola Space through the collaboration of Oana and Jessica, turning the space into a refined sanctuary of holiday inspiration.

, presented “The Archaeology of Winter,” a sensory exploration where winter is reconstructed through ritual rather than temperature. In landscapes where seasons blur, she uses food and tablescapes as “artifacts”, spices and traditions that rebuild the essence of home and migration. Complementing this, Jessica, Creative Director of , anchored the atmosphere with her Alpine Bouquets, timeless arrangements designed to last for years. Together, they invited us to reflect on the rituals we carry with us and the memories we preserve to stay connected.

For the Holiday season Isola celebrates with a twist, no traditional tree here. For our new exhibition, we created a striking “tree” made entirely of blue cylinders, a sculptural centerpiece that transforms the space and sets the tone for a festive season full of creativity and surprise.

To make it even more special, joined for a live demonstration, drawing directly onto the tree and turning it into a one-of-a-kind work of art.

Discover one of the projects currently featured at Isola Space!

The Umu Lamp by is envisioned as a silent being from the future, a sculptural presence rather than a mere object. Handcrafted from a 2-inch steel pipe with two spherical shades, its U-shaped body meets the ground at a single, subtle point. This minimal contact gives the impression that it has just arrived from another world, settling lightly as if adapting to a new gravitational field.

Designed as an autonomous entity, UMU carries its own internal balance, its luminous “eyes” providing a sense of awareness that shifts the atmosphere of any space. It doesn’t just provide light; it inhabits the room with a gentle, futuristic aura.
