These are the people on the ground—the ones who never get to "WFH", even when the sound of drones and intercepted missiles makes them tremble. The ones who took one day off last week, and the next day, returned to crafting chocolates.

This Ramadan, one of the beautiful names of our Creator I've been sitting with is Al Lateef—The Most Subtle, The Most Kind. The One who works for our good in ways not always visible. His power moves in quiet currents, and often, only in hindsight do we see how that subtlety was at work.
When we chose Warsan 3 as our factory location back in 2022, we knew it was away from downtown. Quiet, sometimes toooo quiet. In the middle of nowhere. People call us a "hidden gem." But this place has proven to be a gem in more ways than one.
When almost all of Dubai sank in the April 2024 floods, we didn't even have a puddle. When "new" Dubai heard jets and drones days ago, this area felt safe. I am so grateful that destiny—that the One who orchestrates everything for us—so subtly placed our head office here. Warsan 3.
We didn't post for Women's Day last week. Maybe some of you noticed. We simply didn't have the right words. I didn't know how to "re-angle" our messaging days after 165 school girls in Minab, Iran were killed by this imperialist, morally corrupt tandem of two nations. I echo what others have rightly said: *you do not liberate women by killing their daughters.*
InshaAllah, better days ahead. I pray for leaders to do the right thing. I pray for the real terrorists to be swallowed by the earth by some miracle. I pray for humanity. I pray for my staff—in Dubai and Abu Dhabi—hardworking people far from home, toiling for the families waiting for them.
May all of us, of every faith, experience a blessed and safe last ten nights of Ramadan. And don't forget to tip well your delivery driver! ☺️
